According to an article on Gamesindustry.biz, More than 80,000 Xbox One X consoles were sold during its first week of sale in the UK. According to the post, Microsoft’s latest iteration of the Xbox One is on par with the sales numbers for Nintendo’s Switch.
Retailers have shared data that reveal that Microsoft’s new super-powered console has sold as many units in its first week as Nintendo Switch did in March.
Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro only sold 50,000 units during the first week on the market, but it’s worth mentioning that there were hardware shortages when the console launched last Fall. Lastly, most of the Xbox One X units sold were the limited Project Scorpio Edition. Many stores had regular Xbox One X consoles available at launch.
