It’s definitely apparent that EA is in a lot of hot water right now with the gaming community. FIFA 18 fans in particular also have a bone to pick with the company over updates made to FIFA 18 which have ruined the game’s balance and also the FIFA Ultimate Team system being another greedy microtransaction scheme.
Reddit user PuRe_SSROCK created a very detailed post listing the issues he has with the game and changes that he and other fans want to see be made to FIFA 18. Basically, it involves rebalancing the game to how it was at launch, as updates since then have geared it more towards casual players which is putting a damper on the experience for more hardcore fans. He also wants to see the FIFA Ultimate Team system be overhauled since it’s currently a totally RNG system with “terrible drop rates”. He gives the example of how you can spend $1.50 on the game and get the best player in the game by mere chance, or you can even invest thousands of dollars and get nothing worthwhile out of it.
