Microsoft has been making strides this generation with its backwards-compatibility initiatives for Xbox One. While full-scale backward-compatibility with past Xbox systems isn’t available, several select games have been added to the ever-growing collection. Last year, some original Xbox titles were also thrown into the mix. On Xbox One X, some of these games have been enhanced to take advantage of the system’s ability to output in native 4K.
There hasn’t been much talk about the Xbox One BC program so far for the year, but it looks like projects are still in the works. Albert Penello, the lead for Xbox Marketing, recently confirmed this via Twitter:

While Penello didn’t mention any specific games, it’s good to know that more are on the way.
Having been introduced to video games at the age of 3 via a Nintendo 64, A.K has grown up in the culture. A fan of simulators and racers, with a soft spot for Nintendo! But, he has a great respect for the entire video game world and enjoys watching it all expand as a whole.
