We already knew that the Xbox One X was built to satisfy the needs of gamers who enjoy having a quality visual experience, but now its already wide range of powerful capabilities just got bigger.
Microsoft is rolling out a new Spring Update to the Xbox One family of systems. One of the new features are support for AMD FreeSync-compatible displays on Xbox One X (and also Xbox One S). This functionality reduces screen tearing, thus providing a smoother gameplay experience thanks to more fluid visuals. On top of the new FreeSync support, this new update will also allow your Xbox to detect when it’s connected to an auto low latency-compatible TV (a TV with a ‘Game Mode’ option) and it will automatically engage this functionality when playing a game. These two new visual enhancements should make a lot of gamers pretty happy.
These new details were revealed during the first episode of the new ‘Inside Xbox’ revival. Check out the full video for more information.
