Xbox Live and the entire Microsoft online ecosystem are larger than ever. As Microsoft continues to integrate all of its services into one (including Xbox), it’s only natural that it wants to make things easier for users. One such improvement has recently come to the sign-in system for your Xbox Live/Microsoft account (they’re the same thing). You can now hop into your account by simply using your phone number.
This new sign-in feature was highlighted by Mike Ybarra, who is the Corporate Vice President over at Microsoft. He recently tweeted about the new feature, and also teased that more new features for sign-in and account management will be coming in due time.
Being able to use my phone number to sign into my Microsoft Account (same as XBL account) is awesome. More features to make sign-in and management easier on the way.

Having been introduced to video games at the age of 3 via a Nintendo 64, A.K has grown up in the culture. A fan of simulators and racers, with a soft spot for Nintendo! But, he has a great respect for the entire video game world and enjoys watching it all expand as a whole.
