Sea of Thieves is something of a polarising game; some people love it while others hate it. Whichever side of the debate you land on, pretty much everyone agrees that the game could do with more content. Well, the team at Rare are aware of this and in their latest ‘Inn-side Story’ (basically a developer diary) they share some details about when we can expect some new content to arrive in the game. The good news is that the first content drop will be in May when ‘The Hungering Deep’ will launch. It will feature a new AI threat that requires crews to work together to take down. Weekly events will also be added during May. The summer will see the addition of ‘Cursed Sails’ which will see the addition of a new ship type. Also in the summer, there will be the ‘Forsaken Shores’ update which will open up a new part of the map.
