Battlefield V is now two-for-two on E3 presser appearances, debuting what appeared to be a story trailer during Xbox’s E3 presentation. Very few concrete details can be picked up from the trailer, aside from winter scenery, a woman being prominently featured, possibly as the main character for the campaign, what sounded like Japanese dialogue, and lots of water.
What could all of this mean? It is possible that this is all hinting at some sort of storyline in the Pacific Theater. This trailer was also far, far more serious in tone than any of the other game footage we have seen thus far – it appears that Battlefield V’s campaign will not be quite as over-the-top as the multiplayer is advertised to be.
As for more information, we hopefully will not have to wait much longer. Battlefield V is sure to be a prominent feature for the rest of E3, and full multiplayer and singleplayer footage cannot be that far off.
