One Stop Shop – Bethesda E3 Showcase

E3 is underway, well the press conferences are, the official show starts on Monday. The second of today’s press conferences was the Bethesda E3 Showcase. We covered the news live as it happened but if you missed any of the big stories here they all are in just one place –

was outed by a Wallmart posting last week but today we got a good look at the new game. After a high-octane performance from Andrew WK (does he do any other type of performance) we got a video featuring a decent amount of gameplay.

Doom Eternal
2016’s Doom was both a critical and a commercial hit, so it should come as no surprise that the game is getting a sequel. What may come as a surprise is that the game will be called Doom Eternal and not just Doom 2. A cinematic trailer was shown for the game with the promise that we’ll learn more information about the game at QuakeCon in August

Prey DLC
Prey is a game with a very loyal fanbase and this has not gone unnoticed to Bethesda and the team at Arkane Studios. During the showcase they announced that there will be an update later today that will add ‘New Game +’ mode and ‘Survival’ mode. The other big news was about the new DLC Mooncrash which was shown with a new trailer

Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was one of our favourite games of last year, so you can count as among the excited crowds when new DLC was announced for the game. Wolfenstein: Youngblood will see you play as William “B.J.” Blazkowicz’s twin daughters in 1980’s France

Fallout 76
Despite making an appearance earlier in the day at the Xbox E3 Press Conference, we got lots more details about the next game in the Fallout franchise. The biggest news was that the game is entirely online, will allow you to play co-op, and is coming out later this year
