The highly-anticipated sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest received a gameplay trailer today as the second game shown off at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. Even as one of the fifty games slated for Microsoft’s E3 presser, this gameplay is sure to be one of the highlights for several watching the conference today. The gameplay shown should be more than enough to excite fans of the original, which holds an 88 out of 100 on Metacritic. Several instances of the Blind Forest’s trademark charm and gameplay permeated the trailer. At the end of the trailer, it was announced that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will release sometime next year, exclusively for Xbox One and PC, in 2019.
