Farm Together gets new DLC

One of my games of the year, so far, has been Farm Together. I only agreed to review the game as I thought it was something that my little boy might like. Since then, it has become a regular staple in our household. Not only have I put way too many hours into the game (it’s most likely over 50 hours) but my wife is now hooked and my son adores it. It’s interesting the different ways that we play it, as well. I have everything very ordered and on a massive scale so I can make as much money as possible. My son’s farm is very higgledy-piggledy and has spent as much money on ornaments and decorative items as he has on farming.

The developer of the game, Milkstone Studios, has been really good about adding events and adding new customisation items. The latest additions are two DLC packs.

Farm Together – Chickpea Pack

  • Two new hairstyles (male and female)
  • New backpack: Lute

Farm Together – Mistletoe Pack

If you assumed this was a load of Christmas content, you’d be . . . wrong. In fact, the theme is Vikings and offers –

  • Two new outfits (male and female) with three different skins each
  • Two new face paints
  • New backpack: Shield
  • New tree: Mistletoe
  • New building: Meadery
  • New farm decorations: Longship, Viking Fence, Viking Arch, Viking Column
  • New house: Viking Longhouse
  • New house decorations: Oak Table, Oak Chair, Antle Chandelier, Horn Torch, Bear Carpet, Viking Window
  • New house door: Viking Door
  • New house wall: Nordic Wall (with three different color variations)
  • New house floor: Stone Tiles

(Did you know that Vikings believed that mistletoe could raise people back from the dead!)

Both of these packs are now available on the Xbox Store for $3.99 each.
