SHOW ME THE LOOT
As with the beginning of any season, loot is at the forefront of all serious players minds. Season 17 does not disappoint. Set armor pieces are granted as usual by Haedrig’s gift for completed chapters 2, 3 and 4 of the story mode. Players can unlock one full set per seasons across both hard-core and non-hardcore character types. This season the following set’s are available:
- Barbarian – Might of the Earth
- Crusader – Thorns of the Invoker
- Demon Hunter – The Shadow’s Mantle
- Monk – Monkey King’s Garb
- Necromancer – Grace of Inarius
- Witch Doctor – Raiment of the Jade Harvester
- Wizard – Firebird’s Finery
Quality of Life Changes
In addition to the loot gets this season players will also be receiving an update to the Torment levels. Patch 2.6.5 will bring long-time players new Torment Levels 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 to give more challenge for late game grinding. The new T-Levels will bring more challenges, gold, loot, shards, and additional greater rifts and Nephilim rifts. Players also can now, on PC only sadly, use a newly introduced search function to quickly find items within their inventory.
This season will also bring other items like fresh Season Conquests and a variety of other general updates. For those who love the game, these additions will no doubt bring new challenges and goals to strive for. Not sure about everyone else but I know how my downtime gaming hours will be spent over the next few weeks.
