E3: Ubisoft announce Rainbow Six Quarantine

A new entry in the Rainbow Six franchise was announced during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference. It’s not a sequel to Rainbow Six Siege but a spin-off of the formula. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine is a 3 player PvE co-op title with some nail-biting action.

The footage that was shown looks like something out of the Resident Evil franchise. You are seeing through the eyes of a character who is on the floor and seems to have something unusual running through his veins. With flashing lights and impeding shadows, there is a seriously spooky vibe going on here. Pretty soon the rest of their team turn up and give them a hand up. After that, we see the logo for the game and that’s about it. You can check out the trailer below –

Details are quite scant about the game but we do know that it is launching in in early 2020. Here’s the official description of the game –

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine™ is a 3-player squad-based survival FPS being developed by an entirely new team at Ubisoft Montreal. The Rainbow Six operators will face off against a mysterious threat infecting human hosts and their surroundings.  Prepare to launch into tense, chaotic, and totally unpredictable missions as you and your squad risk everything every time you step into quarantine.
Coming early 2020 on PS4, Xbox One, PC.
