One of the biggest games still to come this year is DOOM Eternal. The followup to 2016’s DOOM looks to continue the Doom Slayer’s fast-paced rampage through the demon horde. The game was due to launch on 22nd November but has now been delayed until 2020. To be more precise, it will now launch on 20th March 2020. The announcement was made via the official DOOM Twitter account. You can check out the Tweet below –

Obviously, any game delay comes with both sadness and joy. Sadness that we’re going to have to wait longer for the game. The joy, of course, is that we will end up getting a better game and that’s always a good thing. It’s also a nice addition that id Software are going to be rewarding people who pre-order the game with a copy of DOOM 64.
