Halo Infinite may be around a year away, but we are starting to get a few neat details on the next Halo. Whilst we’re waiting on some extended gameplay footage, the team are updating the community via Halo Waypoint. A few days ago, they dropped a tidbit about the new Forge mode.
One of the most requested features; a simple undo/redo button, is coming to Forge in Halo Infinite. This will offer increased flexibility in creating more complex worlds. It will also streamline the creation process by making small changes much easier to implement.
According to the team at 343 Industries, this has been one of the most requested features since Halo 3. Of course, that’s where Forge started life, on the Xbox 360. Since then, game communities and content sharing have grown so much, so it makes sense that new features will be available.
As of late, the Halo team have also been hard at work on older titles. The Master Chief Collection is still being updated prior to the launch of Halo: Reach for the collection. A few months ago, a huge migration process commenced for old Halo Forge content, bringing over people’s saved files to the current generation collection.
Is Forge an important feature for your Halo experience?
