Background Music Coming to Xbox One on August 2

At E3 2016 last month, Microsoft announced that one of the most requested features from fans, the return of background music, would soon be hitting Xbox One. We now know that it will be arriving on August 2. Get ready to rock as you play Inside, Sea of Thieves, and more!

Joining the background music update will be the Language Region Independence feature. This will allow you to choose any language for your system, regardless of where you Xbox One is currently located. I’m assuming it is no coincidence that it falls on the same day as the Windows 10 Anniversary update.

Are you excited to listen to background music while you game? Which songs inspire you as you make your way through the virtual landscape? Let us know in the comments down below!
