Batman: Arkham Collection finally comes to Europe in September

One of the stranger differences between the US Microsoft Store and the European Microsoft Store has been the availability of Batman: Arkham Collection. This package which collates Batman: Arkham AsylumBatman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight has been available in North America since November. Despite all three games being available in the European Microsoft Store (thanks to Batman: Return to Arkham collating the first two games), the collection has been unavailable so far. Well, that is going to change in September as Batman: Arkham Collection will launch in Europe in September.

It appears as though the wait may have been worth it. Not only will the European market get a digital edition of Batman: Arkham Collection but also a physical release. This is something that our American cousins don’t have. Online retail stores are touting a release date of 6th September. This date has yet to be officially confirmed, though. Unfortunately, this still doesn’t get us any closer to a remaster of Batman: Arkham Origins (the only game in the series not made by Rocksteady). However, at least Xbox One owners can play the game through backwards compatibility.
