Battlefield V and A Way Out may be coming to EA Access

Earlier this month it was announced that EA Access is coming to PS4. The subscription service has been a feature on Xbox for five years at this point. The “vault” of games contains a suite of EA titles ranging from FIFA to Battlefield, and more may be coming soon. EA Access in July may not be only beneficial for PS4 users after all.

An unlisted YouTube video has gone live on the EA channel. The video shows a sizzle reel of games for the upcoming PS4 release. The trailer shows a group of titles already available on the Xbox version but includes a few notable additions. Both Battlefield V and A Way Out crop up in the video, meaning they both may be coming to the service soon. These games are recent releases and will be a good addition regardless of platform.

As EA Access is launching in July on PS4, it seems this unlisted video has gone live a tad early. These two titles may be coming to bolster the PS4 offering, as it will contain fewer games than the Xbox version. Due to the lack of backward compatibility on PS4, it won’t contain a range of last generation games.

For Xbox users then, it seems July may not be all about PS4 for EA access. Current subscribers on Xbox may well be treated to a few more big additions in the summer. Battlefield V and A Way Out certainly boost the value of the service. Sports games and the Burnout Paradise remaster are the only notable recent additions. It’s also likely that Anthem may not be far away either, as its player base has dropped significantly. We’re not sure what’s going on with it either, so a drop into the subscription service could be a way to boost the player count.
