Halloween events seem to become more popular every year. Multiplayer games that are supported after launch love these things, and Borderlands 3 is the next to get one. The Bloody Harvest event begins on October 24, and runs through December 5 for vault hunters.
To take part in the event, players need to have at least reached the Sanctuary III section of the story. Developer Gearbox says this is fairly early on in the campaign. That means that vault hunters of all varieties can take part in the Halloween festivities.
Bloody Harvest takes place in a spooky setting, and contains new gear and cosmetics. The gear will drop as you progress through the game’s event missions, whilst the cosmetics require a set of challenges to be completed. The goodies available in this update are free, along with the event itself.
Borderlands 3 brings a mix of free and paid content in its post launch plan. Last week we brought news of some new paid cosmetics coming to the game. The five packs dropped during the Show me the Eridium event, each costing $4.99. They were also available as part of the Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions of the game.
