Bring the pain with the Steel & Wheels Pack for Wreckfest

As a racing game fan, I keep meaning to get around to trying Wreckfest. Described as a spiritual successor to FlatOut, the game has been out for a few months now. The game, from Finnish developer Bugbear Entertainment, has already received several packs of DLC. So far, this new content has been on the more light-hearted side of things. We’ve had the Goofy Roofs Pack and the Retro Rammers Pack that allows you to drive a bumper car. However, the latest content takes things a little more seriously. The ‘Steel & Wheels Pack’ offers a range of heavy armour for your vehicle as well as few more cosmetic items.

The armour side of things includes heavy bumpers, side protectors and roll cages. Some of the bumpers wouldn’t just be described as protection, though. A few of these would more accurately be described as offensive in nature. I would certainly consider moving out of the way if I saw a car driving at me with one of these bumpers. The rest of the pack includes more stylish items like a selection of exhaust pipes, spoilers, and wheel rims.

The ‘Steel & Wheels Pack‘ for Wreckfest is available for purchase now and is also included in the game’s Season Pass. You can check out the official (but brief) description of the new content below –

Turn your cars into true beasts of steel with this heavy armor pack! Get your car ready for all-out demolition derby battles with heavy bumpers, side protectors and roll cages. Or add some wrecking style with wild exhausts, spoilers and wheels.
