Carrion gets a gameplay trailer ahead of its X019 appearance

X019 is almost upon us! In just a few days time, Xbox will take over the Copper Box Arena in London for a fanfest of all things Xbox. Our very own Ben Kerry will be on-site to share his thoughts on everything he can get his hands on. One of the games that we know will be on display is Carrion, from Polish developer Phobia Game Studio and publisher Developer Digital. It is being described as a ‘reverse horror game’ in that you actually play as the monster gaining retribution on the people who imprisoned you. The game is scheduled to launch sometime in 2020 but the first gameplay trailer has been released ahead of its showing at X019. You can check it out below along with the official description of the game –

Carrion is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.

Carrion will launch for PC and Xbox One and as soon as we get a confirmed release date you can be sure we’ll share it with you here on Xbox Enthusiast.
