Christmas comes to Dead or Alive 6 with new costumes

I’m starting to question whether Dead or Alive 6 is more than a fighting game. Is it possible that Team Ninja is also trying to make it into some kind of fashion simulator type of thing? The number of costumes being added to the game is immense. It seems as though there is a new batch of outfits coming to Dead or Alive 6 every couple of weeks. In fact, it’s less than two weeks ago we brought you the news of the training wear outfits coming to the game. Well, there are new outfits coming to the game but there are a couple of differences with this new batch.

First of all, these outfits are not included in any of the Season Pass options. Secondly, the male contingent of the fighting game is getting a look in. Whereas nearly all of the previous costume packs have been about getting the women into alluring clothing, the men are actually getting some new costumes to fight in. Don’t go thinking that Team Ninja has gone all #MeToo though. The male costumes are all bulky Santa outfits. Meanwhile, the women are in much more tight-fitting, low-cut affairs. You can check out a trailer for the new costumes below along with their official description –

Get into the holiday spirit with the return of the Santa’s Helper Costume Pack! There is a total of 28 costumes included in this pack for all the fighters with the exception of Mai and Kula. Bass will have a red and black version of the Santa’s Helper costume. Enjoy the holidays with this [Revival] Pack!

If you fancy picking up these new costumes, they are available now the Xbox Store for $23.99 or £18.99. You can also pick them up an individual character’s outfit for just $1.99 or £1.69. Of course, I say these are new costumes but they are “Revival” outfits. These particular looks being brought over from the Santa’s Helper pack for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round.
