Door Kickers: Action Squad breaches its way to a release date

If you’re yearning to play a classic-style 2D side scroller, then do we have some news for you. Door Kickers: Action Squad has got a release date for Xbox One. The latest game from Romanian developer, Killhouse Games, launched on PC a while ago but is coming to consoles with new levels as well as a new chapter and character. Besides having more action than a lot of Arnie films in the 80s and 90s, there’s also some strategy and tactics on offer here. You can even play couch co-op with a friend to double up the amount of carnage as you try to take out the baddies and rescue hostages. If this sounds like your kind of thing, then you’ll be excited to know that the game will launch next week. The announcement was made with a new trailer for the game that you can check out below along with the official description of the game –

Door Kickers: Action Squad is an old-school side-scroller with a touch of strategy and tactics on top of the ridiculous SWAT style action. Literally kick the doors down, blast the bad guys and rescue hostages in explosive Single Player and Coop Multiplayer – with Couch play included. Launched in late 2018 on the PC, the game brings the full experience to consoles while also adding one new chapter with 12 new levels (The Slums) and a fun new playable character (the Off-Duty Guy).

Door Kickers: Action Squad will launch for Xbox One on 24th October
