E3: Halo Infinite launching with next Xbox

During the Xbox E3 press conference, Microsoft revealed that Halo Infinite would launch with the next Xbox. A trailer was shown for the new installment in the iconic franchise that set the tone for the latest experience. The trailer took place in a ship, wrought with destruction. Floating outside of the damaged ship was Master Chief, the main protagonist of the series.

Featuring a more ominous tone than usual, Master Chief’s latest adventure looks like it might be the most intense outing yet. Whether the typical gameplay will make an appearance or 343 changes things up remains to be seen. One thing is for sure; it’s only fitting for the next Halo game to launch alongside Project Scarlett. After all, Halo: Combat Evolved, the game that started it all, launched for the original Xbox.

The last shot of Cortana speaking definitely gave some of us at Xbox Enthusiast chills. We’ll have to wait a while to get our hands on Halo Infinite, but at least we know that the fight will continue next year. Are you a fan of the Halo franchise? What is your favorite installment? Are you looking forward to stepping back in Master Chief’s shoes? Leave a comment below.
