E3: Ubisoft announce Gods & Monsters

Ubisoft ended their E3 press conference with the reveal of a new game. For everyone hoping that it would be a new Splinter Cell, I have bad news for you. No, we don’t get a new Sam Fisher adventure. Instead, we are getting a new game from the team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The game is called Gods & Monsters.

We know next to nothing about the game other than what is in the trailer. Like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey it will feature Greek mythology. Unlike that game, though, the visual style is a lot more cartoony than aiming for realism. You can check out the cinematic trailer below –

It certainly looks interesting but we really want to see some gameplay footage before you can really count on us being onboard. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long for that as the game is scheduled to launch on 25th February 2020. You can check out the official description of the game below –

From the creators of Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey comes a storybook adventure about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods. Prove your heroism by fighting dangerous mythological creatures and taking on their fearsome leader in a face-off for the ages. Explore a beautiful fantasy world where tricky trials, treacherous dungeons and heroic feats await. The journey will be as challenging and rewarding as the final destination and you will emerge as the hero you are meant to become.
