Oh, Ghost Recon. What have you become? Breakpoint, the latest entry in the Tom Clancy franchise officially launches on Friday. Of course, in these weird days of video games, there is an edition of the game that has already been released. It’s safe to say that a lot of eyebrows have been raised by the excessive monetisation in Breakpoint. Some people have even suggested that Ubisoft forgot that they weren’t making a free-to-play game.
Well, it seems as though Ubisoft’s memory is not the greatest as they have just released a Gameplay Launch Trailer without anything that is recognisable as gameplay footage. Yes, there is footage that could be described as in-game. I would even suggest that they have included footage that could have been played by someone and recorded. However, unless this is no longer a third-person shooter or was being played by someone who was only interested in seeing themselves and not the enemies, this doesn’t seem like gameplay.
