Gigantosaurus coming to consoles in March

If your spring video game schedule took a massive blow with the recent delay of Marvel’s Avengers then do we have news for you! A video game adaptation of the Disney show Gigantosaurus is coming to Xbox One on March 27. Swap out super heroes for super dinos in this 3D platformer from Outright Games.

In all seriousness, this looks like your typical licensed adaptation from kids show to video game. In fact, we reviewed a game that looked awfully similar earlier this year in Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure. That too came from Outright Games, so we’d expect a similar affair with Gigantosaurus The Game. That being; an average 3D collectathon with low production value that may appeal to a younger audience.

The game will feature a selection of playable characters from the show and seems like it will be doing something to mix up the formula. Outright Games is mixing in rally racing with Gigantosaurus, something we’re certainly interested in checking out. Gigantosaurus will also feature co-operative play, a neat feature for those wanting to experience this Disney show adaptation together.

Gigantosaurus The Game will launch on all consoles including Xbox One on March 27 2020, right before a huge April in gaming. The reveal trailer is available below.
