GRID, the upcoming game from the racing experts at Codemasters, releases on October 11. Fellow Enthusiast Steve is really looking forward to this one, especially as there’s no new Forza game this year. Judging by the trailers so far, it’s looking in good shape ahead of launch next week.
Now, the developers have released their gameplay launch trailer, to show off the final product. Codemasters have got their trailer-game nailed at this point, and this one is no exception. Sweeping shots of a stacked grid with the sun setting in the background have got us racing fans on the team, quite excited indeed.
There’s a lot of vehicle and environment variety in the trailer, showing the amount of playstyles GRID has to offer. From screaming F1 cars to Minis sliding at Silverstone in the rain, you shouldn’t struggle with a lack of options. Graphically the game looks great too, and as Codemasters’ last DiRT effort offered enhanced visuals for Xbox One X, we hope GRID does too.
Following the delay earlier this year, it looks like GRID is shaping up nicely. Here at Xbox Enthusiast, we’re hoping it fills the Forza void until the inevitable Forza Motorsport 8 next year for Project Scarlett. The trailer is available below.
