Halloween is coming to Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11, the latest in the longstanding series, is getting a fresh update following its free weekend. It’s the time of year for skeletons, pumpkins and wicked witches, so it’s only fair that Mortal Kombat gets in on the action. The event begins on October 25, but there are some spooky goodies coming before then.

The Masquerade Skin Pack launches today, October 17, consisting of three skins. These customisation options are of course Halloween themed, as we’re getting Wicked Witch Jade, Psyko Killer Kabal and Calavera Liu Kang. This pack will cost $5.99 US, or your regional equivalent.

That’s not all though. Starting tomorrow, a Team Raid multiplayer mode is being added to Mortal Kombat 11. It will be part of the Towers of Time mode, and will bring a new boss along with group challenges and opportunities to earn in-game rewards.

Mortal Kombat 11 has been getting a lot of support since launch. A Terminator: Dark Fate character pack also released recently, and was available to try in last week’s free weekend. This inclusion certainly isn’t a surprise though, as the film has been partaking in numerous crossover events in recent months.

Will you be trying out any of the Halloween goodness coming to MK11? The skin pack trailer is available below.
