Hyperkin’s Xbox DUKE Revival Controller Now Available for Pre-Order

If you’re a gamer that happens to have large hands, then that’s probably the only reason you’d be excited for the return of the original Xbox Duke controller. Either that, or it just makes you really nostalgic. Whatever the case may be, the good news is that this controller can now be pre-ordered.

The new DUKE for Xbox One created by Hyperkin has officially been listed on GameStop. If you’re interested, then it’ll set you back about $70.

What’s probably the coolest thing about this controller is that the center Xbox emblem has now been replaced with an LCD screen that will play the original Xbox startup animation when pressed. It also functions as a ‘Home’ button. Other than that, nothing much has changed. It’s the same shape, buttons (aside from the new Menu and Select buttons for the Xbox One), layout and giant size. Keep in mind that this is a wired controller, so if your set-up has the possibility of creating a tripping hazard with this controller, then it would be wise to think about that before purchasing. But, this controller does have compatibility with Windows 10 PCs, so the wired functionality may very well be preferred.
