L.A. Noire Remastered For Xbox One, PS4, Switch and VR This November

Rockstar Games announced today that L.A. Noire will be remastered and released on consoles this November. It will also come complete with all of the DLC at launch for one price.

In case you’re unfamiliar with L.A. Noire, the game is set in 1947 LA, which was the city’s deadliest ever for murders. We play Cole Phelps, a USMC veteran who joins the LAPD. He begins in traffic and works his way up through the detective ranks while solving cases. It was co-developed by Team Bondi, and was the first game to use 3D facial animation the way it did. Players will need to interview witnesses and potential suspects in order to solve cases. Body language and facial movements are key, and you’ll need to have a quick eye to pick up on subtle clues. While interviewing people, you can choose three options; Truth, Lie or Doubt. If you think someone is lying but aren’t sure, choose doubt. If you choose lie, however, you’ll need to have some proof because the people will become defensive and confront you on calling them out.

Seven cases from the original game are also being rebuilt in VR specially for the HTC Vive. It’s the first game that Rockstar has published in VR as well. ┬áThe Xbox One X and PS4 Pro will have 4K capabilities while the standard versions will use 1080P. The Switch version will have a special Joy-Con mode and touch screen controls added.

L.A. Noire will be re-released on November 14th on all systems.

In his spare time, he likes to ponder questions such as "What would happen if Pinocchio said my nose will grow right now?" He is also the most logical person you will ever meet.
