New DOOM Eternal trailer releases tomorrow

DOOM Eternal

DOOM Eternal is a little over two months away, following its delay from late last year. Since then, we’ve seen gameplay videos release and even gone hands on with the game at X019. Now, Bethesda is releasing a new trailer; tomorrow, January 14. There will be a countdown followed by the launch of the trailer on Bethesda’s official Twitch Channel. The countdown begins at 11am ET, before the trailer goes live at 12:30pm ET.

Whilst we don’t know what specifics the trailer will show, there is a short teaser gif on Bethesda’s official Twitter account. Dubbed “Official Trailer 2”, the background shows a view of Earth from Space, with the Doom Slayer about to enter a portal. Will we learn a bit more about the story and world building of DOOM Eternal? Hopefully, when the trailer drops tomorrow.

DOOM Eternal

This Eternal news follows even more dedication to the wider DOOM franchise. Bethesda recently went back and applied a huge patch to the re-released versions of DOOM 1 & 2. This included a 60fps mode along with increased options for save states and more. Whilst Eternal is so very close to launch, it is neat to see Bethesda still paying attention to older releases.

DOOM Eternal launches on March 20, with the “Official Trailer 2” set to launch tomorrow, January 14.
