Bethesda has just released a new trailer for DOOM Eternal. The upcoming Id software game was recently delayed to a March 20 release date. However, that extra polish time looks like it’s being very well used by Id Software.
In the clip, we see the Doom Slayer fight across Mars and Earth in a new adventure that finally sees our hero fight on humanity’s home planet. There are still plenty of demons here though, so they’re not exclusive to Mars…It is cool to see the series move to another planet as it will definitely freshen up the colour palette.
We went hands on with the game at X019 and it shot to the top of our most anticipated release list. Although we have reservations over the increased use of traversal, the shooting is still top notch. The game also looked stunning on Xbox One X, a true showcase of 4k 60fps gameplay on current gen hardware.
DOOM Eternal launches March 20, 2020 on all consoles including Xbox One. If you pre-order the game before release, Bethesda will grant you access to the DOOM 64 port and the rip and tear DLC pack. This is the first time that DOOM 64 will available outside of the Nintendo 64 platform.
The new trailer is available below.
