Operation Oracle deploys to Ghost Recon Wildlands

Ubisoft has done a great job of continually supporting their titles. One such game is Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. Despite launching over two years ago, Ubisoft is still bringing content to this title. The latest addition for Ghost Recon Wildlands is Operation Oracle.

As always, Operation Oracle is playable in single-player or co-operatively and features two missions which see you infiltrating a Unidad facility to rescue a Skell Tech engineer. Along the way, you’ll meet Major Cole D. Walker played by Jon Bernthal (The Wolf of Wall Street, The Accountant, The Punisher) who questions some of your orders.

You can check out the trailer for this new update as well as the official description below –

Welcome to Operation Oracle, Ghosts.

With this free update to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, starting on May 2, you will have access to two brand-new missions that will plunge you headfirst into a scenario that will challenge your perception of the truth.
You will be called by Bowman to extract a Skell Tech engineer who has been arrested by Unidad. The asset has knowledge of sensitive US industrial secrets that must be protected.
You will also meet Major Cole D. Walker, a fellow Ghost Team Leader with his own agenda.

During Operation Oracle, you will uncover information that will redefine loyalty. Make sure you explore thoroughly, Ghosts.
What you will discover here might very well set the scene for the future.
If you have completed the first mission of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Operation Oracle will be automatically available.
You will find the start of the operation in the province of Montuyoc, which is marked by a symbol on your TacMap.
Completing Operation Oracle will unlock two unique rewards to use in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Executioner CQC Finisher
Equip Walker’s bracelet to unlock a brutal new CQC finisher.
Walker Tattoo
Get Walker’s Ghost tattoo for your arm.
Walker Costume
You will be able to get this reward via the Ubisoft Club at a later date. We will share more information on how to unlock the Walker Costume soon.

The update including Operation Oracle went live today so if you own Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands you can play it right now. That’s not all though, Ubisoft is offering a free play weekend so everyone can enjoy it. From 2nd-5th May anyone can download Ghost Recon Wildlands from the Xbox Store and play the full game.

While we weren’t huge fans of Wildlands (it didn’t really feel like a Ghost Recon title to us) we have to applaud the support that Ubisoft has continued to give it. Are you a fan of Ghost Recon Wildlands? Will you be checking out Operation Oracle or the free weekend? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below
