A few days ago, Microsoft revealed a large chunk of what’s coming to X019, Xbox’s upcoming convention. The list featured 24 playable games on the show floor, but Microsoft said that even more would be available. One of the big upcoming games to not feature was Ori and the Will of the Wisps, but it could be there after all.
Xbox Spain posted on Instagram the title would be playable at an Xbox FanFest event in Spain. This takes place at a similar time to X019, on November 14-15 in Madrid, Spain. With X019 being a much larger event, with the marketing clout to match, you’d expect Ori to be on show there too. After all, the title does release next February.
On top of the news from Xbox Spain, Microsoft has begun to layout its more intricate X019 plans. The schedule for Mixer content on Friday, November 15 has been revealed, and it includes a redacted game title. This could be a brand new unannounced game to be shown at the Inside Xbox event, but it could also be Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Whatever the redacted title relates to, we’d hope Ori is playable with its release date being so close.
