One of the best games of the year is the remake of Resident Evil 2. Capcom did a superb job of taking a classic game and refreshing it enough that it feels like a new title but still brings the nostalgia. Ever since the game came out to such acclaim there have been rumours of a remake of the third game in the franchise. Capcom has not made any official announcements about the project but there have been so many rumours, hints, and the odd leak that it seemed inevitable. Well, that inevitability is drawing closer as Capcom has added cover art for two versions of Resident Evil 3 to PlayStation Network.
The Japanese publisher has listed three new Resident Evil titles on PSN. These are Project Resistance and two versions of Biohazard RE:3. Shortly after these covers were found, they were removed. However, the titles remain on PSN and people had already grabbed copies of the cover art. You can check them out in a Tweet below –

Obviously, until Capcom finally confirms anything, this is still classed as a rumour. With the amount of info that has leaked though, it seems highly unlikely that a remake of Resident Evil 3 is not on the horizon. Of course, as soon as we have any further information, you can be sure that we will share it with you here on Xbox Enthusiast.
