Six more games leaving Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is getting a huge new addition in the month of October. The Outer Worlds, by Microsoft’s recently acquired studio, Obsidian Entertainment, is coming to the service on release day, October 25. However, there are some titles leaving the service this month, with six games to be axed soon.

The screenshot, posted on reddit, shows the games in question. The Escapists, Thief of Thieves, Grip: Combat Racing, Doom, Halo Wars Definitive Edition and Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition are all set to leave. The screengrab doesn’t show the leave date, but the end of the month is a safe bet. Games leaving soon usually give us a few weeks notice before dropping out.

There are a few questionable games on this list. First off, Halo Wars is a first party title and we expected to see those stay in the library indefinitely. After all, Microsoft has committed to releasing their new games day and date on the service. Also, Doom was likely leaving the library this month to make way for the upcoming Doom Eternal, but following its delay, it’s a shame Doom isn’t sticking around a bit longer.

Hopefully first party titles leaving Xbox Game Pass doesn’t become the norm, unless Halo‘s inclusion in this list is a mistake.

Will you be playing any of these before they leave?
