Soar above the battlefield in new Overwatch challenge

For a limited time only, there is a new Mercy challenge live in Overwatch. Dubbed “Mercy’s Recall” this new challenge is born from a short story which follows the Mercy character after the end of Overwatch. The challenge and its associated rewards are live until December 2.

The rewards vary, depending on which elements of the new challenge you complete. This time around, they’re split into player challenges and watch to earn challenges. Pretty self explanatory; there are three in-game objectives and three for watching associated Twitch content.

For playing, you must win three, six and nine matches overall. For three wins you’ll get your hands on a player icon. Six wins nets you two new sprays, and the grand prize for nine wins is a legendary skin. The legendary item is a “Dr. Ziegler” Mercy Skin.

The watch to earn rewards aren’t quite as varied. All six of these prizes are Mercy-themed sprays and can be obtained by watching two, four and six hours of participating streams, respectively. To gain access to these rewards, viewers must link their existing Blizzard and Twitch accounts before watching.

The “Play, Watch, Earn” rewards are live from November 12 until December 2 in Overwatch, Blizzard’s team-based hero shooter. The challenge trailer is down below.
