Sonic comes racing back on to Xbox later this year

We might already have had a new Sonic game on Xbox One late last year, as well as the retail release of Sonic Mania in the next two months, but that’s not gonna stop the fastest hedgehog around from making another appearance on the console later this year. SEGA has just announced Team Sonic Racing coming later this year. Rumours were circling after it appeared on Walmart’s website but it has now been confirmed with an announcement trailer. Here’s the official announcement as well as the new trailer –

Team Sonic Racing arrives this Winter! Race in a team with your friends (or against them) both offline and online, and choose from a variety of characters and tracks in the Sonic universe! Team Sonic Racing is being developed by Sumo Digital, well-known for their fantastic racing titles. We’ll reveal more about the game (and we’ll have it playable) at E3, so if you’re around, come give it a try!
