South Park: The Fractured But Whole Announced

uring Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference today, South Park: The Fractured But Whole was announced.  The game is a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth.  While no gameplay was shown, the cinematic trailer confirmed that the same turned-based RPG gameplay from the first game would return.  We will also be able to play as the “New Kid” from The Stick of Truth.  What’s interesting is that Obsidian Entertainment will not be developing this game.  South Park: The Fractured But Whole will actually be developed by an in house Ubisoft studio.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole ditches the fantasy theme from South Park: The Stick of Truth and adopts the super hero alter egos from the show instead.  It will be cool to see how the “New Kid” gets along with Coon and Friends.  South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in 2016.  Check out the hilarious trailer below.
