Spotify Now Available on Xbox One

Chances are if you’re into music, you own a Spotify account. Even if you don’t own one, then there’s a pretty good chance you must have heard about it before. Spotify is one of the most popular music-streaming services currently on the market. With millions of songs from artists big and small (including tracks from video games), it’s no surprise that millions of people from all over the world make use of the service in order to enjoy their favorite songs.

Due to Spotify’s large size, it’s avaliable on most major devices like mobiles and PCs. It’s also on gaming consoles too…Sony systems, that is. The PS4 and PS3 are the only consoles that currently has a custom-built app for Spotify—until now. After a very long wait, Spotify has officially been launched on Xbox One for free.

Here’s a rundown of the features:

  • Browse playlists from different genres and moods. Or check out new releases. Play your own playlists or songs from Your Music.
  • Search for any song, album, or playlist.
  • Use Spotify Connect to control the music from your mobile device.

Will you be making use of Spotify on your Xbox One?
