Team Sonic Racing adds Team Eggman

Team Sonic Racing is another game due out this year that was delayed from 2018 to allow time for extra polishing. The latest kart racer to feature SEGA’s mascot is focussing on adding team mechanics to an already solid platform. Of course, if you are going to include team mechanics, you are going to need teams. Various teams have been announced for the title but we now know the team that will round out roster for the racing game. The latest team to come to Team Sonic Racing is Team Eggman, consisting of Eggman (aka Dr Robotnik), Metal Sonic, and Zavok.

Here is the official announcement as well as a trailer for the game –

Today, SEGA® announced the rotten members of Team Eggman, a new diabolical squad that will be hitting the track as the final team in Team Sonic Racing™. Fans can pre-order the game both physically and digitally for Sony PlayStation® 4, Microsoft Xbox® One and Nintendo Switch™, with a digital only release on PC.

Ivo Robotnik is the main archenemy of Sonic, with a personal goal of achieving world domination
  •     Metal Sonic [Speed] – one of Eggman’s lethal creations, this cold, violent machine aims to prove that he’s the better hedgehog between him and the Blue Blur
  •      Zavok [Heavy] – the leader of the Deadly Six, a demon-like being that continues to battle Sonic and friends whenever the opportunity arises
