Telltale Games is rising from the dead

One of the most shocking pieces of news from last year was the closure of Telltale Games. It appeared to come from nowhere. Ever since they scored a hit with their games based on The Walking Dead the company seemed to be flying high. It was only when the company collapsed that it became clear that things were less than rosy behind the scenes. Well, we know have some news about the resurrection of the company.

A holding company called LCG Entertainment has just announced that it has bought the company’s key assets. This includes “trademarks, technology, and select intellectual properties”. One of the more interesting things of the press release is that they have “the intent of re-releasing select games from the studio’s back catalog and developing new games in some of the company’s best-selling brands”. While we don’t think we’ll be seeing any more games in The Walking Dead series, the website does feature the Telltale Batman games as well as The Wolf Among Us. As big fans of these games we would love to see more of them.

What Telltale Games properties would you like to see given a new lease of life? Do you think the company can still be a success? Share your thoughts in the comments section below
