Tennis games used to be a regular trope of the sports game genre. The Xbox One has been particularly lacking in games of the sport with Kinect Sports being the only title to feature Tennis. Well a couple of months ago, certain territories got AO Tennis (based on the Australian Open) but Tennis World Tour is getting a worldwide release and we now know when the game will launch. The game, which features Roger Federer (arguably the world’s greatest ever player) as both its cover star and most notable licensed player, will launch on 22nd May 2018.

Tennis World Tour is a complete and faithful simulation of the sport, and also includes a unique system for customizing your strategy during a match, reflecting the tactical, physical, and mental dimensions of tennis.
