The Elder Scrolls Online and more free this weekend

Elder Scrolls Online

In another Free Play Days event, Microsoft has announced three titles that will be free to play over the next few days. The games on offer have slightly different free play times, with The Elder Scrolls Online having a longer time period. The Elder Scrolls Online is free from November 6-13, giving players a full week of access.

The other two games on Free Play Days are Cities: Skylines and The Surge. These games have a shorter time period; November 7-10. This is the more typical setup, as games available in the limited-time event usually run over the course of a long weekend.

If you enjoy your time with any of the games on offer, there is a promotion running. All Free Play Days titles are on discount during the event, if you want to carry on playing after. The Elder Scrolls Online and Cities: Skylines will set you back $10 each on sale. The Surge base game is at $5, and the Augmented Edition $10. Oddly, The Surge requires Xbox Live Gold for the discount, whereas the other two titles are on sale for all players.

Free Play Days is a neat program in that it allows wider access to a game than your typical demo. This lets you form a stronger opinion before deciding whether a title is worth a purchase.

Will you be giving any of these a go this weekend?
