The Fisherman – Fishing Planet lands a launch trailer

My fellow Enthusiast, Allen Mowers, has recently been raving about The Fisherman – Fishing Planet. Personally, I’ve never tried any fishing games but with the way he talks about this one, I’m almost tempted to try it out. Well, if you’re excited about the new game or interested in checking it out then you will be wanting to check out the newly released launch trailer. This new video does a great job of showing the various locations and situations in which you’ll be casting your lines. It also shares a lot of the superlatives that people have been expressing about The Fisherman – Fishing Planet. Anyway, you can check out the new launch trailer below –

With this being the premium version of a free-to-play game (on PC) it packs in loads of extra content to warrant its price tag. Here’s the breakdown of what’s included –

The Fisherman – Fishing Planet content:
143 species of fish with realistic behaviour
19 beautiful water locations with authentic backgrounds and vegetation
Thousands of tackle combinations possible, each with unique properties
Dynamic weather with a day/night cycle and different seasons
Online competitions playable solo or co-op, with a trophies and ranking system

1 new waterway: La Creuse, in France
1 new fishing technique: trolling
4 new fish species to catch:
Common Nase – La Creuse, France
European Weatherfish – Lesní Víla Fishery, Czech Republic
Sterlet – Akhtouba River, Russia
Spotted Gar – Mudwater River, Missouri, USA

2 new motorboats:
« Garry Scott Taurus » boat
« Flaggmann Vega » boat
