The future’s not set but the file size for Terminator Resistance is

The Terminator IP seems to be everywhere right now. There’s the latest film in the cinema, Terminator: Dark Fate. There are Terminator characters popping up in Gears 5 and Mortal Kombat 11. We even have a new Terminator video game arriving soon. Terminator: Resistance is by no means the first game based on the franchise. We’ve had games based directly on the movies (Terminator Salvation, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, etc), as well as collaborations such as the brilliant sounding RoboCop Versus The Terminator. This latest game is a first-person shooter set in the future that the Terminator movies predict. You play as a resistance fighter in the war against the machines. Well, if that sounds like your kind of thing, we now know how much space the game will take up on your Xbox One hard drive. According to the listing on the Xbox Store, Terminator Resistance will have a file size of 17.51 GB

We’re not really sure what to think about this one yet. Obviously, we always want to be Enthusiastic about a game. However, we have been burned by movie tie-in games so many times before. That said, we can see so much potential in a game set in the Terminator universe. The world has a great visual aesthetic. It has the opportunity to delve into deeper subjects that just shooting things. Reef Entertainment, the developer of Terminator Resistance, don’t exactly have a flawless back catalogue, though. The last game they developed was Rambo: The Video Game which really wasn’t very good. Also, for a game that promises some RPG elements alongside the shooting, a file size of less than 20GB is worrying.

Well, we won’t have too long to find out how good (or not) it is as Terminator Resistance is scheduled to launch on 10th December. If you want to know more you can check out a gameplay video for the game below –
