If you thought you were done with subjugating the people of Tropico, then have we got some news for you. Kalypso Media and Limbic Entertainment have just announced the first expansion for Tropico 6. The new content is called The Llama of Wall Street. El Presidente is turning to capitalism and manipulating the stock market to make money, lots of money. The markets will fluctuate. You can change tariffs to affect other countries imports and exports. And if you’re feeling particularly vindictive, you can try and crash Wall Street and benefit from it.
This new expansion also adds new buildings to the game. Alongside the Trade Institute, you can also build a toy workshop as well as a smart furniture store. You also gain access to a new sandbox map. You can check out the new DLC in the trailer for the content below along with the official description –
The Llama of Wall Street DLC features a wide variety of new features and mechanics. The price of goods will now succumb to fluctuations and trends in the global market, and players will be able to make use of new buildings, such as the Trade Institute, to play the markets and even manipulate export prices. It also adds new missions, events, additional customisation options and edicts.
Join forces with your very own stockbroker and satisfy your inner white-collar mogul, taking over the US economy and helping establish Tropico as a global mega-brand. Play the markets and sabotage Wall Street as you unravel the sinister secrets of The Broker and work to become the ultimate corporate llama among wolves.
The Llama of Wall Street expansion for Tropico 6 is available right now for $9.99 or £8.39. And if you are unfamiliar with Tropico 6 and El Presidente you can check out Ashley’s review of the game right here.
