Turtle Beach to release a new line of headsets

There’s certainly no shortage of headset options for gaming these days, and Turtle Beach are one of the mainstays. They’ve provided good budget options for some time, including this year’s Recon 70 headset. For this holiday season, the manufacturer has announced a new lineup of accessories with a focus on refreshing existing options.

Aside from the previously mentioned Recon 70, Turtle Beach seem to be focusing on higher end headsets this year. That includes more PC-oriented options like the wireless 3D surround sound Elite Atlas Aero. This $150 headset also boasts a 30-hour battery life, a new high-sensitivity microphone and fresh software to go with it. Their new “Control Studio” software is used to enable more 3D audio options.

At the other end of the scale is the new Recon Spark option. This headset comes in at the low end ($50), and focuses more on the look of the headset than anything else. This white and purple set is rather nice to look at, but more importantly, is compatible with all consoles and mobile devices.

Elsewhere, existing lines are being updated. There’s a new standalone version of the Elite Pro 2 headset, alongside Stealth Series successors in both wired and wireless forms. The new Stealth 600 and 700 headsets bring higher end options for console users.

All details on the new Turtle Beach headsets can be found here.
