Two Point Hospital to open its doors to console players

I first remember seeing Two Point Hospital at EGX last year. At that point, the game was a PC exclusive and as I didn’t have much time, I didn’t get around to playing. I do remember thinking how much fun it looked, though. Well, it looks like us console gamers will get a chance to try our hand at running a hospital after all as the game has been confirmed for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 later this year. The announcement was made via a trailer which you can check out below –

For anyone who’s not familiar with Two Point Hospital, it’s a spiritual successor to Bullfrog’s Theme Hospital. You are tasked with running a hospital. Your responsibilities include building and upkeep, hiring and firing, as well as research and education. Of course, you have to do all of this while looking after a neverending influx of patients with a selection of 119 different illnesses. All of this is done in a visual style that looks like it’s been heavily influenced by the work of Aardman Animation. This console edition is set to include the ‘Bigfoot’ and ‘Pebberley Island’ expansions as well as a load of the updates from the PC version.

Two Point Hospital will launch on consoles in late 2019
