Xbox Game Pass features some big games this month

Xbox Game Pass is the service that keeps on giving. Every month, new games are available for subscribers. This month, the offerings are special for a myriad of reasons. First, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice from Ninja Theory (one of Microsoft’s newest acquisitions) and Ori and the Blind Forest are available to download. Second, two games announced early in the Xbox One’s lifecycle are also a part of December’s additions.

Ashen from Aurora44 launched last week, and the long in development, Below, from Capybara Games, will launch on December 14th. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to add these games to their collection. Additionally, Mortal Kombat X, Pro Evolution Soccer 19, Shadow Warrior 2, Kingdom: Two Crowns, and Spintires: Mudrunner are also included as part of the program.

Here are the dates for when all of December’s games will be available according to Xbox Wire.

  • Mortal Kombat X – Available now
  • Ashen – Available now
  • Kingdom: Two Crowns – December 11th
  • Spintires: Mudrunner – December 13th
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 19 – December 13th
  • Below – December 14th
  • Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice – December 17th
  • Shadow Warrior 2 – December 20th

Xbox Game Pass continuously amazes me with the value that the program offers. From first-party games to hidden gems to games that are available at launch, all Xbox One owners should invest in the service. Since becoming a member, I’ve saved hundreds because I choose to get all of my first-party games through the service. Are you subscribed to Xbox Game Pass? If so, what do you think about the games coming to the program this month? If not, what is stopping you from signing up? Be sure to leave a comment below.
